Commercial Roof Repair Program

Let us help extend the lifetime of your roofing investment.

Altorila is a program designed to take the surprises out of commercial roof repair. By conducting regular inspections, we’ll monitor the health of your commercial roof. We’ll also make sure you’re aware of any condition issues, and we’ll offer recommendations on how to address them. Our goal is to help you address issues before they turn into catastrophic repair costs.

With Altorila, you’ll get the following benefits:

Priority Roofing Service

One of the biggest benefits for Altorila customers is that they receive top priority on any service calls. If your building is under contract with us, any necessary repairs will move to the top of our company's to-do list.

Roofing Inspections and Recommendations

As an Altorila customer, you'll receive regular roofing inspections (typically twice a year). After we've had a chance to look at your roof, we'll communicate any issues and offer recommendations. You'll know what needs your immediate attention, what you can monitor, and what you might want to address before it develops into a more expensive problem.

Helpful Media and Documentation

As an Altorila customer, you'll receive documentation to better understand what and where issues exist. After every inspection, we'll provide a comprehensive report of roof conditions. You'll also receive photos of emergency deficiencies, placed on a helpful diagram of your roof so you can see where those deficiencies are located.

From design and repair to our technology and maintenance program, Altorila LLC sets the standard for high-quality roofing solutions.

Our Dallas roofing and sheet metal company serves a broad range of businesses and public entities throughout the Dallas area, meeting the needs of architects, general contractors, building owners, developers and management companies. We offer a full range of roofing services. We can start by helping you design the roof that is right for your project by taking a range of factors into account — such as long-term maintenance costs, building uses, environmental impact and installation ease. To help you keep your roof in good order, we use helpful software to make maintenance easier. We also provide a cost-saving, long-term maintenance program to help you extend the life of your roof. Unlike some Dallas roofing contractors, we do not just install and promote one type of roofing. Our Dallas roofing contractors are approved applicators of most major roofing systems, including Carlisle, Johns Manville, GAF, Firestone, Soprema, Henry, Performance Roof Systems, Sika Sarnafil and others. Three generations later, we continue to provide the same quality product, professional workmanship and personal attention that our grandfather valued.

Roof Repair and Maintenance Services

Commercial roofing maintenance programs are designed to help you get the maximum life out of an existing roof system. Maintenance is so critical to the upkeep of a roof system that many manufacturers require maintenance two times a year by a certified roofing contractor, in order to keep warranties valid.

At Altorila LLC, we help commercial, industrial and multi- family property owners throughout the Dallas metro area maintain and repair their roofing systems. Our maintenance program is designed to meet the standards required by many roofing manufacturers to maintain warranties on their roof systems.

The Dallas climate is tough on roofing systems. Extreme temperature changes — like the ones we often experience during harsh Dallas winters – can cause expansion and contraction to the roof membrane, leading to damage and potential roof leaks.

We are dedicated to stopping small problems before they become larger ones- helping to maximize the life of the existing roof system.  When we visit a commercial, industrial, or multi-family building for a scheduled inspection we look for a broad range of potential problems:

Open pipe flashing

Rooftop debris

Open field seams

Open wall flashing sealant

Plugged roof drain

Doing things Right the First Time

The differences between manufacturers and types of roofing systems can often be subtle, but repairing a roof with the wrong materials can have severe consequences. Many 10, 15, 20 and 30 year warranties are invalidated the minute roofs are repaired with another manufacturer’s product. Sadly, this is a common mistake made by inexperienced roofing contractors and maintenance staff seeking to cut corners. If your roof needs repairs, it is critical to seek help from a knowledgeable roofing specialist — a professional with the skills and experience to do the repair correctly the first time. Doing things right the first time is the best way to protect your investment and minimize potential future costs.

Roofing Systems

Built-Up Roofing Systems for Commercial Projects

vIn built-up roofing systems (often called “tar and gravel” or “asphalt and gravel” roofs), redundancy is the key to making a strong and lasting roof. At Altorila LLC, we place layer on layer of coal tar pitch or asphalt, alternated with plies of reinforcing felts. The overlapping layers ensure that no moisture gets through.

As experienced roofing professionals, we install built-up roof systems on commercial and industrial properties throughout the greater Dallas area. We tailor built-up roofing systems to product specifications and budgets. Customers choose three, four or even five ply roofs according to their needs and budgets. Each layer creates added resistance to water and weather.

At Altorila LLC, we are approved to install these asphalt and tar and gravel built-up roof systems:

  • Johns Manville
  • GAF
  • Firestone
  • Garland
  • Durapax

EPDM Roofing System

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a widely used roofing material that is known for its durability and installation ease. These single-ply “rubber roofs” use a high-performance compound that weathers well in Dallas snowy winters and hot summers.

At Altorila LLC, we have installed many EPDM roofing systems throughout the greater Dallas area. Experience has shown us that EPDM is often the number-one roofing choice of architects, roof consultants and building owners, both for new construction and replacement roofing projects.

We are approved applicators of EPDM roof systems made by many major manufacturers, including the ones listed below:

  • Elevate
  • Johns Manville
  • Carlisle
“Rubber Roofs” — A Sustainable Option

In the last decade, there has been a tremendous push to make buildings more environmentally sustainable. EPDM is a sustainable roofing option in more ways than one. It is known for its long life and durability, which reduces the long-term costs of replacement and repairs.

Green Roof System Construction

Dark colored asphalt roads and tar roofs attract the sun’s heat and are often responsible for the urban “heat island” effect found in cities like Dallas, but advances in roofing technology have found ways to beat the heat.

White Roofs

Many roofing materials soak up the sun’s radiation and reflect it back as heat, making cities like Dallas hotter than the surrounding suburban or rural areas. According to some studies, if all roofs in a major city were greened, urban temperatures could be reduced by as much as 12 degrees.

Natural Plants on Roofs

Vegetation adds natural beauty, but helps reduce the urban heat island effect and provides a natural habitat for birds and other small wildlife. At Altorila LLC, we have helped developers, builders and architects create green roofs using soil and live plants. These roofs require high-quality waterproofing and root-repellant systems, drainage systems and filter cloths. We are well equipped to effectively manage these components.

Our Own Environmental Efforts

One of the most recent has been our switch to digitized plan review and paperless estimating technology, which makes us a more efficient, greener company. This is only one small part of our efforts. We continue to grow in order to deliver top quality services to our environmentally-conscious customers. Who knows what the next hundred years will bring.
